First, add all of the smoothie ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend together until a thick paste forms – try not to add any liquid! If you do not have a blender with a tamper, you may want to do this step in a food processor as well.
Use a spatula to scoop the Smoothie “paste” into ice cube molds and spread it across the molds evenly to fill them.
Freeze overnight, then store the cubes in freezer-safe containers until ready to use.
To Make a Smoothie: allow the Superfood Smoothie Cubes to sit at room temperature for 5 minutes to slightly thaw, then add to your blender with 1 1/2 – 2 cups of Filtered Water (depending how thick you like it). Blend until smooth, top as desired, and enjoy!
Notes
It does not matter if your Veggies are fresh or frozen, as they will all be frozen later anyways. If you have a weaker blender, it may be best to use fresh!
Ingredients above are for one serving of smoothie, but you can multiply the recipe as you see fit.
If you’d like a creamier smoothie, substitute the Filtered Water with Non-Dairy Milk.
