1/2 cup (118 ml) grade A maple syrup
3 tablespoons (35 g) pumpkin puree
1/2–1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice*
2 tablespoons water
pinch of salt
Instructions
Mix: Add the maple syrup, pumpkin, spice, water, and a pinch of salt to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk well, until combined.
Simmer: bring to a simmer over medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cool & Store: remove the pan from the heat and let the syrup cool completely; it will thicken as it cools. Transfer to a glass jar store in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. Use as desired, and enjoy!
